I am building the body of this site first. Useful pages, clear advice and a voice you can judge for yourself should come before commercial links.

Explore Southeast Asia may use affiliate links later. That could mean links to accommodation, eSIMs, travel insurance, transport, tours, books or other tools that help with a real trip. If that happens, I may earn a small commission when a reader books or buys through some links.

For the first phase, I am not placing those links. I would rather make the site useful first and add commercial links only where they make sense.

What will not change

• Money should not choose the route.
• I will not pretend to have used something if I have not.
• I will not turn every practical note into a sales page.
• Sometimes the best advice is to book nothing yet.

If commercial links are added later, this page should say so clearly.
